Monolith mSuite 3.0 Offers More for Advanced Technology Management
Chicago, IL - April 28, 2006 - Privately held Monolith Technology Holdings (aka Monolith Software) today announced mSuite version 3.0, the latest release of its Enterprise Technology Management solution which aims to provide customers with a single solution to allow organizations to proactively manage and monitor their IT Infrastructures. Available immediately, mSuite ITM version 3.0 builds on numerous new embedded functionalities that enable it to accurately reflect and monitor practically any customer-unique environments.

Monolith today announced the follow enhancements in Version 3.0:
- Device Catalog: With consolidated device auto-discovery, Device Catalog is central link for finding and retaining more information about a customer's environment. Event Enrichment, SIM/SEM, Availability polling, and Performance polling are just some of the advantages. Eliminating multiple discovery engines and duplicate polling is the biggest advantage. Device Catalog provides a master repository of assets that the system is managing. This allows Monolith to control device access and administration from a single administration module.
- New Multi-platform support using the new Component Broker: Using the new Component Broker, customers can now create custom controlled scripts & actions which communicate across a secure SOAP connection to the application. The broker technology is supported on both Linux and Windows environments.
- Installation and Patch Packaging: 3.0 brought with it the ability to deliver the software, updates and patches via packages. This significantly improves the installation and patching process and reduces the time for upgrades significantly.
- New mSuite Modules: Netflow Reporter and Performance Reporting Engine: V3.0 now includes out-of-the-box integration with Monolith’s Netflow Reporter and Performance Reporter applications. These two modules fully integrate into mSuite allowing seamless integration between modules and complete integration with the mSuite administration components.
- Enhanced Security Architecture: Version 3.0 delivers a major step forward in the area of security, authorization and single sign-on. mSuite and all of its modules are all integrated into the mSuite ITM base. The solution now installs out-of-box running on HTTPS via SSL, making your management tool the most secure as possible.
